Sixty-five young scholars from across the world (Europe, USA, Canada, South Africa, India, Mexico and Australia) responded to the call for papers. Fifteen entrants were selected to submit a full paper, on a range of subjects related to the conference topics, among which:

•Exploitation of sport rights in co-existing communication markets
•Copyright on Social Media Sites
•Privacy and Data Protection Regulation
•Internet and freedom of speech
•The implementation of the Audio-visual Media Services Directive
•A view of the Net Neutrality Debate

Est-ce que les consommateurs-utilisateurs-usagers-penseurs francophones peuvent par-ti-ci-per dans le cadre de la participatiesamenleving, burgerparticipatie du WRR du 22 mai 2012? Une question de confiance: faire confiance à son peuple. Aujourd'hui, les internautes s'émancipent (un peu) grâce au progrès technologique bien compris et il y a le mot Justice pour tous. Une question d'égalité bien comprise aussi. Comme il y a le mot responsabilités. Quelles responsabilités eXactement? Et pour qui eXactement?
Ici, on s'intéresse à la protection de la jeunesse face à l'électronique qui a été mal régulée. Où se situent les responsabilités eXactement? On peut contacter l'IViR à Amsterdam. Est-ce que cet institut a bien pris en compte les intérêts de la société, et en particulier la protection des familles et de la jeunesse? Sur l'intérêt général dans une société... Peut-on faire confiance dans ces instituts,etcetera? Des instituts qui sont financés par quels moyens? Toujours la même histoire.
