Also, I'm not sure why there is so much emphasis placed on jobs in the games industry these days. There aren't actually all that many jobs available in the scheme of things, it's hard to get into, and often jobs aren't secure as studios take on staff then fire them again as projects fluctuate in staffing needs (not to mention studios being closed down). It's project-based and there are often failures.
I realise it's sort of the glamour end of software development, but it would be better perhaps to explain all the other jobs that are available in software and IT that are often just as interesting.
