The Hague Delta... & l'information...

Within 2 years NATO will concentrate all of its activities in the field of information technology, digital security of private networks, etc. in The Hague.

Between 50 to 100 NATO staff members will be housed in the premises of the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) on the Waalsdorpervlakte.

The decision was made in favour of The Hague because of the presence of a cluster of major international organisations in the field of security. There is also a growing number of companies specialised in cyber security in The Hague.

Mayor Jozias van Aartsen of The Hague is pleased with NATO’s decision to expand its cyber service and he said that it was proof that efforts to create an international security cluster in the Netherlands were starting to show results.

The Hague region now has a large number of international agencies and innovative companies which are active in the field of security such as Europol, TNO, Siemens and Fox-IT. They are working together to find unique security solutions in The Hague Security Delta (HSD), the largest security cluster in Europe.
