P.s: Ce blog a eu la chance de pouvoir écouter Yves Citton et Nicolas Truong avec http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georges_Didi-Huberman au Festival d'Avignon:
"In charge of the Ideas-Debates pages in the newspaper Le Monde, producer at the radio station France Culture, author with Jacques Le Goff of History of the Body in the Middle Ages in 2003, Nicolas Truong is a connoisseur of the movement of contemporary ideas. An enlightened surveyor of philosophical thought of the 20th and 21st centuries, it is based on this last occupation that he has organized the Theatre of Ideas, on the request of Hortense Archambault and Vincent Baudriller, starting in their first year as directors of the Festival d'Avignon, in 2004, the year when Thomas Ostermeier was associate artist. A cycle of encounters bringing together each year intellectuals who come to exchange ideas on the major challenges that agitate the world of thought and that run through the Festival's programming. Several works resulted from these get-togethers: at Flammarion: The Theatre of Ideas: 50 Thinkers to Understand the 21st Century, published in 2008, and Praise of Love, written in 2009 with Alain Badiou, as well as new works scheduled for publication at Flammarion and Éditions de l'Aube. Moderating this “Theatre of Ideas” reinforced an approach that he had already launched in 2002 in staging Life on Earth, an adaptation for the theatre of texts derived from critical thinking, like those by George Orwell. Persuaded, as the writer Annie Le Brun says, that “there are no ideas without bodies and no bodies without ideas”, he attempts to nurture a philosophical theatre that goes beyond the simple reading of canonical texts on a stage and that aims at “making thought emotions happen”. This was how the first draft was born of his Firefly Project, presented in 2012 at the Festival d'Avignon in the framework of Sujets à Vif."
