The Peace Palace Library has the pleasure to invite you for the third Peace and Security Salon on biological and chemical weapons. The Salon is part of a new lecture series of the Peace Palace Library on peace and security issues. The Salon will discuss the international legal, practical and policy aspects of the use of biological and chemical weapons and the threat of biological and chemical terrorism.
The Salon will take place in an informal setting with room for discussion. The language will be English. Please note that the number of seats is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Deze integratie is volgens hen de eerste in een reeks besluiten. Intertoys is winstgevend, terwijl Bart Smit dat niet is. Blokker Holding zou de ontwikkelingen van Bart Smit nauwlettend volgen, om de komende twee à drie jaar een besluit te nemen over de voortzetting van deze formule. De stappen hebben verder mogelijk gevolgen voor de zeventig overlappende winkels en de twee distributiecentra.
Blokker Holding kampt niet alleen met moeilijke marktomstandigheden. Binnen de top heerst onrust. Na het vertrek van ceo Roland Palmer eerder dit jaar, stapten deze week Blokker-directeur Jack Peters en Maxitoys-directeur Tony Mettens op. Waar Peters vertrok ‘na een verschil van inzicht met de concerndirectie’, zou Mettens moeite hebben met het nieuwe bewind onder interim-ceo Theo de Kool. ‘De Kool stuurt alleen op financiën en niet op commercie’, zo luidt de kritiek.
