Some 300 highschool students from all over the Netherlands participated in this year's Concours Visions d'Europe (Competition Vision for Europe).

The Dutch highschool students were asked to write an essay on the following European theme: ´L'Europe et le multilinguisme: pour votre avenir et celui de la jeunesse européenne, est-il nécessaire de maîtriser plusieurs langues?´
