Dear Library Visitors,
As of July 1, 2015, the Peace Palace Library has adopted a new annual membership fee of 30 euro. This new annual membership fee will provide remote access to licensed electronic resources such as journals and databases to which the Library is subscribed to. In addition, we will also offer the possibility of purchasing a one-day membership card for 5 euro. This card will be valid for 24 hours from the moment of application and provides access to all materials available for consultation as well as to our online resources. Online access to our electronic resources with a one-day membership card is only possible from inside the Library.
The Peace Palace Library is proud to announce the launch of our remote access service as of July 1, 2015. By doing so, we hope to improve our services and to bring digital information directly to you from any location in the world! This new remote access service enables our users to access our online sources from anywhere in the world with only a Library card number and password. On our homepage, you will find a link ‘Remote login access’. Click this link and log in with your Library card username and password. The Peace Palace Library sincerely hopes that these new services will help you with your legal research and professional work.
Please not that some databases do not work currently with remote access. These are: Beck Online, CIAO, Dalloz, DeJure, ElevenOnline, IAReporter, JuraBE, Jurisquare, KluwerArbitration Online, Kluwer Competition Law, Ogel, RDB, Swisslex, Sabinet.
However, all good things come with a price attached. The costs of the Library card including remote access will be € 30,- from July 1st . Library users with an active Library card can use our remote access services without an extra payment until the expiry of their Library card with the exception of those who have paid a membership fee of 10 euro.
As of July 1, there will be two types of Library membership cards available:
1. An annual membership card for € 30,-. This membership fee provides borrowing and consultation privileges as well as remote access to our digital Library from any location in the world

Vos commentaires sont les bienvenus, même venant de la part de journalistes ici et là. Les conseils de surveillance sont également invités à la discussion.
