On Tuesday 2 June The Hague Institute for Global Justice and ABN Amro, Global March Against Child Labour, The Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime and the Bureau of the National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings and SeXual Violence against Children are co-organizing a high-level expert roundtable discussion on Countering Human Trafficking through Business and Human Rights (Ruggie).
The roundtable will gather a select group of approXimately 20 leading eXperts and practitioners from private enterprises, anti-human (?) trafficking organizations, academic institutions and NGOs, to discuss the strengths of the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (the “Ruggie” Principles) as a means to counter human trafficking in the broad sense.
